The NEW 3 in 1 bird Sanitiser & Disinfectant

Pure and disinfected drinking water are the basic conditions for good health and well-being of humans and animals. Everyone is aware of the importance of perfectly hygienic drinking water. Nowadays this can be realized quickly and easily using Solosan ™

What does solosan ™ Contain?

Solosan™ contains <5% hypochlorous acid. It occurs naturally in animals as a means of fighting infection. We mix it with high levels of oxygen to create a non-toxic, potable biocide without any side effects. It`s also fully compatible with in-water medication, vitamins and tonics. Manufactured here in the UK, naturally we`ve ensured it has full EU compliance under the biocides directive.

How can solosan ™ be used?
The most effective use of solosan ™ is in drinking water. Though drinking water is clean and fresh from the tap, it is very likely to have been contaminated by the time the birds drink it. Treating the water with solosan ™ ensures it remains clean and will not become a source of infection.

Equipment should be cleaned and disinfected regularly to avoid becoming a reservoir of potential infection. Solosan ™ has an exceptionally rapid kill time against bacteria, viruses, fungi and yeast, but its non-toxicity also makes it exceptionally safe and ideal for cleaning equipment and housing.

What dosage should be used?
Solosan™ should be dosed regularly to ensure ongoing protection in drinking water.

  • Add the solosan ™ to drinking water at 5-10 ml per litre of fresh clean water
  • Refresh the water every day
  • Spray the drinkers with solosan ™ after cleaning them normally
  • The same for baskets, housing and aviaries
  • Also can be used as a mist to spray into the loft
