Our 2023-2024 Pigeoncom auction season started with a special project by Fred van Pareen: a fantastic auction, of which the proceeds will benefit the Prinses Máxima Centrum !
Prinses Máxima Centrum
The Prinses Máxima Centrum is not an ordinary hospital, but a research hospital, the largest pediatric child cancer center in Europe. The Prinses Máxima Centrum for pediatric oncology was opened in 2018; a center where the best healthcare professionals and scientists come together in the field of pediatric oncology, to work together on a unique mission: cure every child with cancer, with optimal quality of life. A mission that is still urgent, because one in four children with cancer dies and many children who survive suffer the consequences of drastic treatments for the rest of their lives.
Today, 15 March 2024, Fred van Pareen, Rob Timmermans, Michel Verweij, Jeroen Hendriks & Gert Jan Hendriks were invited by the Prinses Máxima Centrum to present the check with the proceeds of this auction.
