His colony is formed by proven marathon lines (Arjan Beens, Verweij de Haan, Jelle Jellema) but further developed in his own way: strictly selected for intelligence, drive, resilience, and a strong mental engine – all ingredients of the modern marathon pigeon – which is one of the main reasons that Corne added long distance blood from his good friends Ruud & Dolf Bakker (Koopman) to his breedingloft. Everything is geared towards progression.
The daily approach in the loft is recognizable in his pigeons: rest, rhythm, and peak condition at the right time. No frills, no fads, but a proven method of building and coaching.
