The 2023-2024 Pigeoncom auction season starts with a special project by Fred van Pareen: a fantastic auction, the proceeds of which will benefit the Princess Máxima Center!
The Princess Máxima Center is not an ordinary hospital, but a research hospital, the largest pediatric cancer center in Europe. The Princess Máxima Center for pediatric oncology was opened in 2018; a center where the best healthcare professionals and scientists come together in the field of pediatric oncology, to work together on a unique mission: cure every child with cancer, with optimal quality of life. A mission that is still urgent, because one in four children with cancer dies and many children who survive suffer the consequences of drastic treatments for the rest of their lives.
Fred, together with Michel Verweij, Rob Timmermans, Jeroen and Gert Jan Hendriks, put his weight behind his idea to organize an auction with two things in mind:
1. collect as much money as possible for the Princess Máxima Center
2. reward the donor and especially their partner in the form of an “Amsterdamse middag op het IJ” (Fred is, after all, a true Amsterdammer)
Fred and Rob will introduce the donors & their special gifts for this auction during the upcoming weeks and these introduction movies will be shared on www.pigeoncom.com and our social media platforms.
In order to generate as much attention (read: money) as possible for Fred’s wonderful initiative, we have decided to start our auction season with this unique auction and to have/keep this auction in view for a long time; therefore the auction will end on December 23, 2023! Keep an eye on our site and follow this auction, it is for a great cause !!
