P. SOLLEVELD & PALOMA

 

Peet Solleveld races his pigeons under the name P. Solleveld & Paloma. Paloma is Peet’s daughter. Peet’s pigeon adventure started in 1973, together with his father. Peet started flying together with Nol v. Straten in 1978 and the wellknown and very succesful combination Sol-Stra-Sol was formed. From 1996 to 2002 he flew in combination with the late John v. Holstein under the name Solleveld-Holstein and since the beginning of this century, Peet flies under the name of P. Solleveld & Paloma.

 

 

 

P. Solleveld lives in Maasdijk and in addition to taking care of the pigeons, Peet is working as a quality controller in fruit & vegetables for the company of his cousin, the late Piet Solleveld. “While I’m is working, my thoughts always wander to the pigeons” Peet always says 🙂 How to play them, how to pair them and what to do to improve the performance. Besides his great passion for icehockey, Peet Solleveld is “born with a pigeon in his heart”, his pigeons are his friends and this friendship produces top results!
