R.A. Bakker & Zoon is a very well known name in the National and International Pigeonsport because of their excellent results. Father Dolf and son Ruud are (one of) the best loft(s) in The Netherlands on the NPO middle & long distance flights (400 – 700km) !!
The base of this toploft is formed by pigeons of Gerard Koopman which they have purchased since 2007. One can say that 95% of the birds in the lofgty of R.A. Bakker is from Koopman origin. Every year since their first visit they have returned to Gerard for pigeons which resulted in a very good friendship between two of the best Dutch lofts/fanciers on the NPO flights !
